Sign InRating: 4 out of 5 [ General Comment , Charged Successfully ]Successful charge (at no cost) using one of the 7 kW Type 2 units in August 2024. The rapid charger next to it appeared to be offline. I had to call Chargeplace Scotland to start the charge as my CPS card hadn't arrived yet. If you go into Burger King or any of the other shops they have a machine that can validate the parking ticket for free parking (I think it's up to 4 hours).

[ General Comment , Failed to Charge (Equipment Problem) ]Failed to rapid charge due to 'communication issue' with the Chademo unit and my car. Tried several times to get the charge going but unsuccessful.......ended up using one of the fast chargers on the same level, level one, (down the ramp), whilst the Mrs did her shopping. Didn't really matter though 'cause after several hours wandering the shopping centre the car was more or less fully charged upon return.

Rating: 4 out of 5 [ Suggested Changed (Actioned By Editor) , Charged Successfully ]Two the fast chargers on the right hand side have faults not recognising smart cards. The middle two fast chargers and the rapid on the left hand side are charging normally.

[ General Comment , Did Not Visit Location ]This car park is free to use. You have to use the facilities and validate your car parking ticket in one of the retailers machines or ring the attendant via the intercom who will wipe the car parking charge for EV users

Rating: 5 out of 5 [ General Comment , Charged Successfully ]Easy to find. Good to see a city car club leaf charging there too. Had to pay £3.50 for park, couldn't find an attendant to see if it was free as CYC site suggested. Chademo only charged Leaf to 90%, couldn't restart and persuade it to give me more, but enough to get home to Glasgow. Pub/coffee shop over road did good coffee, and sainsbury's local for provisions.
