Sign InRating: 2 out of 5 [ General Comment , Failed to Charge (Equipment Problem) ]Hard to find. Went to the wrong car park first. Was directed to the smaller car park but it was out of service. Powered but staff explained its not releasing charge cables unless they power down the whole system. If you are desperate and can wait for staff once you get enough range to move on maybe worth a try.

Rating: 4 out of 5 [ Important Notice (For Other Users) , Charged Successfully ]The updated Mennekes charge points can either be activated by calling a car park attendant on the intercom or alternatively using a Charge Your Car (CYC) RFID card which also works.

[ General Comment , Failed to Charge (Equipment Not Operational) ]Shame. Found the charger but it is not fit for purpose, don't even try and use this point. The staff will activate it for you but it's not been wired correctly and there is not enough power for A type 2 charge. There is no 3 pin alternative.

[ General Comment , Charging Spot Not Accessible (Access locked or site closed) ]Arrived just before 9am but car park was closed. Check opening times if you intended to charge here.

Rating: 3 out of 5 [ General Comment , Failed to Charge (Equipment Not Compatible) ]Tried using the charging points here today and can confirm the McKennes Type 2 connection rather than 3pin 13amp. However my Renault Zoe refused to charge on either of the sockets. The car park staff were great and said other cars had used the points earlier in the day. It may be the Zoe has an issue with this.

Rating: 2 out of 5 [ Suggested Change (Note To Editors) ]listed as Public Charger but is an EDF unit Requiring a Tag to use, visitors can contact the car park office and an attendant will come and connect & disconnect you. Charging is free but car parking fees apply. 2 bays each with a 13amp socket (both in working order). The "White Zone" is not signposted externally, it is the North Car Park off Bluecoat Street.
